The event is here!
From today, the international spotlight is on Barcelona as it hosts Mondiacult 2025, the global forum for culture, arts, and heritage. This unique gathering brings together policymakers, cultural leaders, and practitioners from around the world to discuss the future of culture in society. In parallel, Agora Cívica is taking place, creating a dynamic space for citizen participation and engagement in cultural policy and local decision-making. We look forward to following the conversations, ideas, and initiatives that emerge from these events, and to sharing insights and reflections on the evolving cultural landscape. Ágora Cívica in Barcelona
A hub for citizenship, cultural rights and politics discussions
These days, Barcelona becomes a hub for dialogue and reflection on culture and civic participation with the celebration of Agora Cívica. Organized by the City of Barcelona, the Barcelona Provincial Council, the Government of Catalonia, and the Ministry of Culture, this forum creates a unique space for exchange between institutions, citizens, and cultural actors. Agora Cívica stands as a living laboratory to explore new forms of participation in cultural policy and decision-making that shape the cultural life of our communities. Its mission is clear: to strengthen the connections between culture, democratic governance, and civic engagement. We will be closely following the conversations, proposals, and initiatives that emerge from this space, convinced that they will provide valuable insights for rethinking the role of culture in contemporary society. Stay tuned for updates from Agora Cívica in Barcelona!
Women in Arts & Culture Politics, Independent Magazine
We start a new project
We are launching this initiative with a clear mission: to create a space where the intersections of gender, the arts, culture, and politics are examined with depth, independence, and courage. In a time when cultural policy and artistic practices are reshaping societies worldwide, women’s voices and perspectives remain essential yet too often marginalized. This project seeks to amplify those voices, provide critical reflection, and foster dialogue across disciplines and geographies.
Our editorial focus will include:
Critical essays and opinion pieces on cultural policy and its impact.
Interviews with artists, thinkers, and cultural leaders.
Coverage of international forums, festivals, and gatherings.
Reviews and reflections on artistic practices with political and social resonance.
Launched in 2025 as an independent, women-led initiative, Women in Arts & Culture Politics is committed to building a platform that is inclusive, bold, and forward-looking. We believe that the arts are not separate from politics, but a vital space where cultural futures are imagined, contested, and created. This is only the beginning — a magazine project in motion. We invite readers, collaborators, and fellow cultural practitioners to join us in shaping this space.
Independent. Critical. Women-led. Global.
With love,
Noa Martí and Isabel Gondel
Welcome to my new website!
Welcome to my website!
I am excited to launch this platform as a space to share my professional journey, highlight my projects, and open new pathways for collaboration. Over the years, my work has been dedicated to strengthening the artistic and cultural sector through research, critical reflection, and active engagement with both local and international communities. This website is designed not only as a showcase of my trajectory and expertise, but also as a meeting point for dialogue. By bringing together ideas, experiences, and initiatives, I aim to foster connections that can generate meaningful impact across the arts and cultural landscape. Whether through publications, cultural projects, or collaborative ventures, my goal remains clear: to contribute to a stronger, more inclusive, and forward-looking cultural sector. I look forward to connecting with peers, partners, and institutions who share this commitment. Here’s to building new bridges, sharing knowledge, and shaping the future of culture together.
